SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human H2BC14 (H2B clustered histone 14, also called H2B/e) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human H2BC14 qPCR Primer Set – H2B clustered histone 14
Also known as: H2B/e, H2BFE, HIST1H2BM, dJ160A22.3
About this gene: Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8342; HGNC ID: HGNC:4750; UniProt: Q99879; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003521.3; Chromosome location: 6p22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
