Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HIRA (histone cell cycle regulator) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human HIRA qPCR Primer Set – histone cell cycle regulator

Also known as: DGCR1, TUP1, TUPLE1

About this gene: HIRA encodes a histone chaperone that preferentially places the variant histone H3.3 in nucleosomes. Orthologs of HIRA in yeast, flies, and plants are necessary for the formation of transcriptionally silent heterochomatin. HIRA is important for the formation of the senescence-associated heterochromatin foci.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7290; HGNC ID: HGNC:4916; UniProt: P54198; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003325.4; Chromosome location: 22q11.21

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
