SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HIF1A (hypoxia inducible factor 1 subunit alpha, also called HIF-1alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HIF1A qPCR Primer Set – hypoxia inducible factor 1 subunit alpha
Also known as: HIF-1-alpha, HIF-1A, HIF-1alpha, HIF1, HIF1-ALPHA, MOP1, PASD8, bHLHe78
About this gene: HIF1A encodes a alpha subunit of transcription factor hypoxia-inducible factor-1, which is a heterodimer composed of an alpha and a beta subunit. HIF-1 acts as a master regulator of cellular and systemic homeostatic response to hypoxia by activating transcription of many genes, including those involved in energy metabolism, angiogenesis, apoptosis. HIF-1 thus plays an essential role in embryonic vascularization, tumor angiogenesis and pathophysiology of ischemic disease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3091; HGNC ID: HGNC:4910; UniProt: Q16665; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001530.4; Chromosome location: 14q23.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
