SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AOX1 (aldehyde oxidase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human AOX1 qPCR Primer Set – aldehyde oxidase 1
Also known as: AO, AOH1
About this gene: Aldehyde oxidase produces hydrogen peroxide and, under certain conditions, can catalyze the formation of superoxide. Aldehyde oxidase is a candidate gene for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 316; HGNC ID: HGNC:553; UniProt: Q06278; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001159.4; Chromosome location: 2q33.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
