SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HES1 (hes family bHLH transcription factor 1, also called hHL) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human HES1 qPCR Primer Set – hes family bHLH transcription factor 1
Also known as: HES-1, HHL, HRY, bHLHb39
About this gene: The HES1 protein belongs to the basic helix-loop-helix family of transcription factors. The HES1 gene product is a transcriptional repressor of genes that require a bHLH protein for their transcription. The protein has a particular type of basic domain that contains a helix interrupting protein that binds to the N-box rather than the canonical E-box.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3280; HGNC ID: HGNC:5192; UniProt: Q14469; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005524.4; Chromosome location: 3q29
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
