SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HCRTR2 (hypocretin receptor 2, also called Ox2R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HCRTR2 qPCR Primer Set – hypocretin receptor 2
Also known as: ORXR2, OX2R, OXR2
About this gene: The HCRTR2 protein is a G-protein coupled receptor involved in the regulation of feeding behavior. The HCRTR2 protein binds the hypothalamic neuropeptides orexin A and orexin B. A related gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that selectively binds orexin A.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3062; HGNC ID: HGNC:4849; UniProt: O43614; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001384272.1; Chromosome location: 6p12.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
