SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KALRN (kalirin RhoGEF kinase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KALRN qPCR Primer Set – kalirin RhoGEF kinase
Also known as: ARHGEF24, CHDS5, DUET, DUO, HAPIP, KALNC2, TRAD
About this gene: Huntington's disease, a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by loss of striatal neurons, is caused by an expansion of a polyglutamine tract in the HD protein huntingtin. KALRN encodes a protein that interacts with the huntingtin-associated protein 1, which is a huntingtin binding protein that may function in vesicle trafficking.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8997; HGNC ID: HGNC:4814; UniProt: O60229; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001388419.1; Chromosome location: 3q21.1-q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
