SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HAAO (3-hydroxyanthranilate 3,4-dioxygenase, also called h3HAO) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HAAO qPCR Primer Set – 3-hydroxyanthranilate 3,4-dioxygenase
Also known as: 3-HAO, HAO, VCRL1, h3HAO
About this gene: 3-Hydroxyanthranilate 3,4-dioxygenase is a monomeric cytosolic protein belonging to the family of intramolecular dioxygenases containing nonheme ferrous iron. The HAAO gene product is widely distributed in peripheral organs, such as liver and kidney, and is also present in low amounts in the central nervous system. HAAO catalyzes the synthesis of quinolinic acid from 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23498; HGNC ID: HGNC:4796; UniProt: P46952; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012205.3; Chromosome location: 2p21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
