SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human H6PD (hexose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase/glucose 1-dehydrogenase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human H6PD qPCR Primer Set – hexose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase/glucose 1-dehydrogenase
Also known as: CORTRD1, G6PDH, GDH, H6PDH
About this gene: There are 2 forms of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. G form is X-linked and H form, encoded by H6PD, is autosomally linked. This H form shows activity with other hexose-6-phosphates, especially galactose-6-phosphate, whereas the G form is specific for glucose-6-phosphate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9563; HGNC ID: HGNC:4795; UniProt: O95479; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004285.4; Chromosome location: 1p36.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
