SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GYS1 (glycogen synthase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GYS1 qPCR Primer Set – glycogen synthase 1
Also known as: GSY, GYS
About this gene: The GYS1 protein catalyzes the addition of glucose monomers to the growing glycogen molecule through the formation of alpha-1,4-glycoside linkages. Mutations in GYS1 are linked to muscle glycogen storage disease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2997; HGNC ID: HGNC:4706; UniProt: P13807; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002103.5; Chromosome location: 19q13.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
