SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GYG1 (glycogenin 1, also called GN1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GYG1 qPCR Primer Set – glycogenin 1
Also known as: GSD15, GYG
About this gene: GYG1 belongs to the glycogenin family. Glycogenin is a glycosyltransferase that catalyzes the formation of a short glucose polymer from uridine diphosphate glucose in an autoglucosylation reaction. This reaction is followed by elongation and branching of the polymer, catalyzed by glycogen synthase and branching enzyme, to form glycogen.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2992; HGNC ID: HGNC:4699; UniProt: P46976; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004130.4; Chromosome location: 3q24
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
