SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GUCY2F (guanylate cyclase 2F, retinal, also called GC-F) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GUCY2F qPCR Primer Set – guanylate cyclase 2F, retinal
Also known as: CYGF, GC-F, GUC2DL, GUC2F, RETGC-2, ROS-GC2
About this gene: The GUCY2F protein is a guanylyl cyclase found predominantly in photoreceptors in the retina. The GUCY2F protein is believed to be involved in resynthesis of cGMP after light activation of the visual signal transduction cascade, allowing a return to the dark state. The GUCY2F protein is a single-pass type I membrane protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2986; HGNC ID: HGNC:4691; UniProt: P51841; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001522.3; Chromosome location: Xq22.3-q23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
