About this gene: GUCY2C encodes a transmembrane protein that acts as a receptor for endogenous peptides guanylin and uroguanylin, and the heat-stable E. coli enterotoxin. The GUCY2C protein activates the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator. Mutations in GUCY2C are linked to familial diarrhea and meconium ileus.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
