Human GUCA1A qPCR Primer Set – guanylate cyclase activator 1A
Also known as: C6orf131, COD3, CORD14, GCAP, GCAP-1, GCAP-I, GCAP1, GUCA, GUCA1
About this gene: GUCA1A encodes a enzyme that is involved in the recovery of retinal photoreceptors from photobleaching. This enzyme promotes the activity of retinal guanylyl cyclase-1 at low calcium concentrations and inhibits GC1 at high calcium concentrations. Mutations in GUCA1A can cause cone dystrophy 3 and code-rod dystrophy 14. provided by RefSeq, Jul 2020].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2978; HGNC ID: HGNC:4678; UniProt: P43080; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001384910.1; Chromosome location: 6p21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
