SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GSR (glutathione-disulfide reductase, also called GR) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GSR qPCR Primer Set – glutathione-disulfide reductase
Also known as: CNSHA10, GR, GSRD, HEL-75, HEL-S-122m
About this gene: GSR belongs to the class-I pyridine nucleotide-disulfide oxidoreductase family. This enzyme is a homodimeric flavoprotein. The GSR gene product is a central enzyme of cellular antioxidant defense, and reduces oxidized glutathione disulfide to the sulfhydryl form GSH, which is an important cellular antioxidant.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2936; HGNC ID: HGNC:4623; UniProt: P00390; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000637.5; Chromosome location: 8p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
