Human GRM7 qPCR Primer Set – glutamate metabotropic receptor 7

Also known as: GLUR7, GPRC1G, MGLU7, MGLUR7, NEDSHBA, PPP1R87

About this gene: L-glutamate is the major excitatory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, and it activates both ionotropic and metabotropic glutamate receptors. Glutamatergic neurotransmission is involved in most aspects of normal brain function and can be perturbed in many neuropathologic conditions. The metabotropic glutamate receptors are a family of G protein-coupled receptors that have been divided into three groups on the basis of sequence homology, putative signal transduction mechanisms, and pharmacologic properties.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2917; HGNC ID: HGNC:4599; UniProt: Q14831; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000844.4; Chromosome location: 3p26.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
