SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GRIN2A (glutamate ionotropic receptor NMDA type subunit 2A, also called NR2A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GRIN2A qPCR Primer Set – glutamate ionotropic receptor NMDA type subunit 2A
Also known as: EPND, FESD, GluN2A, LKS, NMDAR2A, NR2A
About this gene: GRIN2A belongs to the glutamate-gated ion channel protein family. The GRIN2A protein is an N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor subunit. NMDA receptors are both ligand-gated and voltage-dependent, and are involved in long-term potentiation, an activity-dependent increase in the efficiency of synaptic transmission thought to underlie certain kinds of memory and learning.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2903; HGNC ID: HGNC:4585; UniProt: Q12879; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001134407.3; Chromosome location: 16p13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
