SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GABBR2 (gamma-aminobutyric acid type B receptor subunit 2, also called HG20) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GABBR2 qPCR Primer Set – gamma-aminobutyric acid type B receptor subunit 2
Also known as: DEE59, EIEE59, GABABR2, GPR51, GPRC3B, HG20, HRIHFB2099, NDPLHS
About this gene: The multi-pass membrane protein encoded by GABBR2 belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 3 family and GABA-B receptor subfamily. The GABA-B receptors inhibit neuronal activity through G protein-coupled second-messenger systems, which regulate the release of neurotransmitters, and the activity of ion channels and adenylyl cyclase. This receptor subunit forms an active heterodimeric complex with GABA-B receptor subunit 1, neither of which is effective on its own.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9568; HGNC ID: HGNC:4507; UniProt: O75899; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005458.8; Chromosome location: 9q22.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
