SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GPR50 (G protein-coupled receptor 50, also called H9) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GPR50 qPCR Primer Set – G protein-coupled receptor 50
Also known as: H9, Mel1c
About this gene: GPR50 product belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Even though this protein shares similarity with the melatonin receptors, it does not bind melatonin, however, it inhibits melatonin receptor 1A function through heterodimerization. Polymorphic variants of GPR50 have been linked to bipolar affective disorder in women.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9248; HGNC ID: HGNC:4506; UniProt: Q13585; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004224.3; Chromosome location: Xq28
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
