SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human FFAR1 (free fatty acid receptor 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human FFAR1 qPCR Primer Set – free fatty acid receptor 1
Also known as: FFA1R, GPCR40, GPR40
About this gene: FFAR1 belongs to the GP40 family of G protein-coupled receptors that are clustered together on chromosome 19. The FFAR1 protein is a receptor for medium and long chain free fatty acids and may be involved in the metabolic regulation of insulin secretion. Polymorphisms in FFAR1 may be linked to type 2 diabetes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2864; HGNC ID: HGNC:4498; UniProt: O14842; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005303.3; Chromosome location: 19q13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
