SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GOT2 (glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 2, also called mAspAT) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GOT2 qPCR Primer Set – glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 2
Also known as: DEE82, KAT4, KATIV, KYAT4, mitAAT
About this gene: Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and inner-membrane mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT is involved in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2806; HGNC ID: HGNC:4433; UniProt: P00505; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002080.4; Chromosome location: 16q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
