Human GNRH2 qPCR Primer Set – gonadotropin releasing hormone 2
Also known as: GnRH-II, LH-RHII
About this gene: GNRH2 belongs to the gonadotropin-releasing hormone gene family. Proteins encoded by members of GNRH2 family are proteolytically cleaved to form neuropeptides which, in part, regulate reproductive functions by stimulating the production and release of the gonadotropins follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone. The human GNRH2 gene is predicted to encode a preproprotein from which a mature neuropeptide of 10 amino acids is cleaved.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2797; HGNC ID: HGNC:4420; UniProt: O43555; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_178331.2; Chromosome location: 20p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
