SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GNAS (GNAS complex locus, also called NESP55) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GNAS qPCR Primer Set – GNAS complex locus
Also known as: AHO, AIMAH1, C20orf45, GNAS1, GPSA, GSA, GSP, NESP, PITA3, POH, SCG6, SgVI
About this gene: This locus has a highly complex imprinted expression pattern. The GNAS gene product gives rise to maternally, paternally, and biallelically expressed transcripts that are derived from four alternative promoters and 5' exons. Some transcripts contain a differentially methylated region at their 5' exons, and this DMR is commonly found in imprinted genes and correlates with transcript expression.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2778; HGNC ID: HGNC:4392; UniProt: O95467; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000516.7; Chromosome location: 20q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
