SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ANKH (ANKH inorganic pyrophosphate transport regulator, also called ANK) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ANKH qPCR Primer Set – ANKH inorganic pyrophosphate transport regulator
Also known as: ANK, CCAL2, CMDJ, CPPDD, HANK, MANK, SLC62A1
About this gene: ANKH encodes a multipass transmembrane protein that is expressed in joints and other tissues and controls pyrophosphate levels in cultured cells. Progressive ankylosis-mediated control of pyrophosphate levels has been suggested as a possible mechanism regulating tissue calcification and susceptibility to arthritis in higher animals. Mutations in ANKH have been linked to autosomal dominant craniometaphyseal dysplasia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 56172; HGNC ID: HGNC:15492; UniProt: Q9HCJ1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_054027.6; Chromosome location: 5p15.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
