Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GLUL (glutamate-ammonia ligase, also called GS) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human GLUL qPCR Primer Set – glutamate-ammonia ligase

Also known as: DEE116, GLNS, GS, PIG43, PIG59

About this gene: The GLUL protein belongs to the glutamine synthetase family. The GLUL gene product catalyzes the synthesis of glutamine from glutamate and ammonia in an ATP-dependent reaction. The GLUL protein is involved in ammonia and glutamate detoxification, acid-base homeostasis, cell signaling, and cell proliferation.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2752; HGNC ID: HGNC:4341; UniProt: P15104; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001033044.4; Chromosome location: 1q25.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
