SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GLUD2 (glutamate dehydrogenase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GLUD2 qPCR Primer Set – glutamate dehydrogenase 2
Also known as: GDH2, GLUDP1
About this gene: The GLUD2 protein is localized to the mitochondrion and acts as a homohexamer to recycle glutamate during neurotransmission. The encoded enzyme catalyzes the reversible oxidative deamination of glutamate to alpha-ketoglutarate. GLUD2 is intronless.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2747; HGNC ID: HGNC:4336; UniProt: P49448; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012084.4; Chromosome location: Xq24
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
