SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GLRA1 (glycine receptor alpha 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GLRA1 qPCR Primer Set – glycine receptor alpha 1
Also known as: HKPX1, STHE
About this gene: The GLRA1 protein is a subunit of a pentameric inhibitory glycine receptor, which mediates postsynaptic inhibition in the central nervous system. Defects in GLRA1 are a cause of startle disease, also known as hereditary hyperekplexia or congenital stiff-person syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2741; HGNC ID: HGNC:4326; UniProt: P23415; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000171.4; Chromosome location: 5q33.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
