SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GJB3 (gap junction protein beta 3, also called Cx31) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GJB3 qPCR Primer Set – gap junction protein beta 3
Also known as: CX31, DFNA2, DFNA2B, EKV, EKVP1
About this gene: GJB3 belongs to the connexin gene family. The GJB3 protein is a component of gap junctions, which are composed of arrays of intercellular channels that provide a route for the diffusion of low molecular weight materials from cell to cell. Mutations in GJB3 can cause non-syndromic deafness or erythrokeratodermia variabilis, a skin disorder.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2707; HGNC ID: HGNC:4285; UniProt: O75712; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024009.3; Chromosome location: 1p34.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
