SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GDF2 (growth differentiation factor 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GDF2 qPCR Primer Set – growth differentiation factor 2
Also known as: BMP-9, BMP9, HHT5
About this gene: GDF2 encodes a secreted ligand of the TGF-beta superfamily of proteins. Ligands of this family bind various TGF-beta receptors leading to recruitment and activation of SMAD family transcription factors that regulate gene expression. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate each subunit of the disulfide-linked homodimer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2658; HGNC ID: HGNC:4217; UniProt: Q9UK05; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016204.4; Chromosome location: 10q11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
