About this gene: The ganglioside GD3 synthase causes cell differentiation with neurite sprouting when transfected into the mouse neuroblastoma cell line Neuro2a. After differentiation, the expression of multiple genes is upregulated, including one that encodes a protein termed ganglioside-induced differentiation-associated protein 1. A similar gene was found in humans, and mutations in the human gene are linked to Charcot-Marie-Tooth type 4A disease.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
