SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GCA (grancalcin) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GCA qPCR Primer Set – grancalcin
Also known as: GCL
About this gene: GCA encodes a calcium-binding protein that is abundant in neutrophils and macrophages. In the absence of divalent cation, this protein localizes to the cytosolic fraction; with magnesium alone, it partitions with the granule fraction; and in the presence of magnesium and calcium.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25801; HGNC ID: HGNC:15990; UniProt: P28676; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012198.5; Chromosome location: 2q24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
