SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GC (GC vitamin D binding protein, also called DBP) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human GC qPCR Primer Set – GC vitamin D binding protein
Also known as: DBP, DBP-maf, DBP/GC, GRD3, Gc-MAF, GcMAF, HEL-S-51, VDB, VDBG, VDBP
About this gene: The GC protein belongs to the albumin gene family. The GC gene product is a multifunctional protein found in plasma, ascitic fluid, cerebrospinal fluid and on the surface of many cell types. The GC gene product binds to vitamin D and its plasma metabolites and transports them to target tissues.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2638; HGNC ID: HGNC:4187; UniProt: P02774; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000583.4; Chromosome location: 4q13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
