SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AMZ2 (archaelysin family metallopeptidase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human AMZ2 qPCR Primer Set – archaelysin family metallopeptidase 2
About this gene: The AMZ2 protein is a zinc metalloprotease that displays some activity against angiotensin-3. The AMZ2 protein is inhibited by the aminopeptidase inhibitor amastatin, as well as by the general inhibitors o-phenanthroline and batimastat. Defects in AMZ2 may be linked to lung tumorigenesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51321; HGNC ID: HGNC:28041; UniProt: Q86W34; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016627.5; Chromosome location: 17q24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
