SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GALNT12 (polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 12, also called GalNAc-T12) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GALNT12 qPCR Primer Set – polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 12
Also known as: CRCS1, GalNAc-T12
About this gene: GALNT12 belongs to a family of UDP-GalNAc:polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferases, which catalyze the transfer of N-acetylgalactosamine from UDP-GalNAc to a serine or threonine residue on a polypeptide acceptor in the initial step of O-linked protein glycosylation. Mutations in GALNT12 are linked to an increased susceptibility to colorectal cancer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79695; HGNC ID: HGNC:19877; UniProt: Q8IXK2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024642.5; Chromosome location: 9q22.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
