SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AMY2B (amylase alpha 2B) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human AMY2B qPCR Primer Set – amylase alpha 2B
Also known as: AMY2, AMY3, HXA
About this gene: Amylases are secreted proteins that hydrolyze 1,4-alpha-glucoside bonds in oligosaccharides and polysaccharides, and thus catalyze the first step in digestion of dietary starch and glycogen. The human genome has a cluster of multiple amylase genes that are expressed at high levels in either salivary gland or pancreas. AMY2B encodes a amylase isoenzyme produced by the pancreas.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 280; HGNC ID: HGNC:478; UniProt: P19961; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001387437.1; Chromosome location: 1p21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
