SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GALK2 (galactokinase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GALK2 qPCR Primer Set – galactokinase 2
Also known as: GK2
About this gene: GALK2 encodes a highly efficient N-acetylgalactosamine kinase, which has galactokinase activity when galactose is present at high concentrations. The GALK2 protein belongs to the GHMP kinase family.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2585; HGNC ID: HGNC:4119; UniProt: Q01415; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002044.4; Chromosome location: 15q21.1-q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
