Human GAL3ST4 qPCR Primer Set – galactose-3-O-sulfotransferase 4
Also known as: GAL3ST-4
About this gene: GAL3ST4 belongs to the galactose-3-O-sulfotransferase protein family. The product of GAL3ST4 catalyzes sulfonation by transferring a sulfate to the C-3' position of galactose residues in O-linked glycoproteins. This enzyme is highly specific for core 1 structures, with asialofetuin, Gal-beta-1,3-GalNAc and Gal-beta-1,3GalNAc being good substrates.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79690; HGNC ID: HGNC:24145; UniProt: Q96RP7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024637.5; Chromosome location: 7q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
