SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GADD45A (growth arrest and DNA damage inducible alpha, also called GADD45) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GADD45A qPCR Primer Set – growth arrest and DNA damage inducible alpha
Also known as: DDIT1, GADD45
About this gene: GADD45A belongs to a group of genes whose transcript levels are increased following stressful growth arrest conditions and treatment with DNA-damaging agents. The GADD45A protein responds to environmental stresses by mediating activation of the p38/JNK pathway via MTK1/MEKK4 kinase. The DNA damage-induced transcription of GADD45A is mediated by both p53-dependent and -independent mechanisms.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1647; HGNC ID: HGNC:4095; UniProt: P24522; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001924.4; Chromosome location: 1p31.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
