Human GABRR2 qPCR Primer Set – gamma-aminobutyric acid type A receptor subunit rho2
About this gene: Gamma-aminobutyric acid is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian brain where it acts at GABA receptors, which are ligand-gated chloride channels. The GABRR2 protein belongs to the rho subunit family and is a component of the GABA type A receptor complex. GABRR2 exists on chromosome 6q next to the gene encoding the rho 1 subunit of the GABA type A receptor, in a region thought to be linked to susceptibility for psychiatric disorders and epilepsy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2570; HGNC ID: HGNC:4091; UniProt: P28476; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002043.5; Chromosome location: 6q15
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
