Human GABRA5 qPCR Primer Set – gamma-aminobutyric acid type A receptor subunit alpha5
Also known as: DEE79, EIEE79
About this gene: GABA is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian brain where it acts at GABA-A receptors, which are ligand-gated chloride channels. Chloride conductance of these channels can be modulated by agents such as benzodiazepines that bind to the GABA-A receptor. At least 16 distinct subunits of GABA-A receptors have been identified.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2558; HGNC ID: HGNC:4079; UniProt: P31644; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000810.4; Chromosome location: 15q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
