SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human GABRA4 (gamma-aminobutyric acid type A receptor subunit alpha4) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human GABRA4 qPCR Primer Set – gamma-aminobutyric acid type A receptor subunit alpha4
About this gene: Gamma-aminobutyric acid is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian brain where it acts at GABA-A receptors, which are ligand-gated chloride channels. Chloride conductance of these channels can be modulated by agents such as benzodiazepines that bind to the GABA-A receptor. At least 16 distinct subunits of GABA-A receptors have been identified.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2557; HGNC ID: HGNC:4078; UniProt: P48169; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000809.4; Chromosome location: 4p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
