About this gene: EIF3M encodes a protein that is part of the eurkaryotic translation initiation factor 3 complete required for protein synthesis. Elevated levels of the EIF3M protein are present in cancer cell lines. Inactivation of the EIF3M protein is reported to interfere with translation of herpes virus mRNAs by preventing the association of mRNAs with the ribosomes.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
