SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human G6PD (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human G6PD qPCR Primer Set – glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase
Also known as: CNSHA1, G6PD1
About this gene: G6PD encodes glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. The G6PD protein is a cytosolic enzyme encoded by a housekeeping X-linked gene whose main function is to produce NADPH, a key electron donor in the defense against oxidizing agents and in reductive biosynthetic reactions. G6PD is remarkable for its genetic diversity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2539; HGNC ID: HGNC:4057; UniProt: P11413; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001360016.2; Chromosome location: Xq28
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
