SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human G6PC1 (glucose-6-phosphatase catalytic subunit 1, also called G6Pase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human G6PC1 qPCR Primer Set – glucose-6-phosphatase catalytic subunit 1
Also known as: G6PC, G6PT, G6Pase, GSD1, GSD1a
About this gene: Glucose-6-phosphatase is a multi-subunit integral membrane protein of the endoplasmic reticulum that is composed of a catalytic subunit and transporters for G6P, inorganic phosphate, and glucose. G6PC1 is one of the three glucose-6-phosphatase catalytic-subunit-encoding genes in human: G6PC, G6PC2 and G6PC3. Glucose-6-phosphatase catalyzes the hydrolysis of D-glucose 6-phosphate to D-glucose and orthophosphate and is a key enzyme in glucose homeostasis, functioning in gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2538; HGNC ID: HGNC:4056; UniProt: P35575; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000151.4; Chromosome location: 17q21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
