Human FZD6 qPCR Primer Set – frizzled class receptor 6
Also known as: FZ-6, FZ6, HFZ6, NDNC1, NDNC10
About this gene: FZD6 represents a member of the 'frizzled' gene family, which encode 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt signaling proteins. The protein encoded by this family member contains a signal peptide, a cysteine-rich domain in the N-terminal extracellular region, and seven transmembrane domains, but unlike other family members, this protein does not contain a C-terminal PDZ domain-binding motif. The FZD6 protein acts as a negative regulator of the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin signaling cascade, thereby inhibiting the processes that trigger oncogenic transformation, cell proliferation, and inhibition of apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8323; HGNC ID: HGNC:4044; UniProt: O60353; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003506.4; Chromosome location: 8q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
