SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human FUS (FUS RNA binding protein, also called POMp75) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human FUS qPCR Primer Set – FUS RNA binding protein
Also known as: ALS6, ETM4, FUS1, HNRNPP2, POMP75, TLS, altFUS
About this gene: FUS encodes a multifunctional protein component of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein complex. The hnRNP complex is involved in pre-mRNA splicing and the export of fully processed mRNA to the cytoplasm. The FUS protein belongs to the FET family of RNA-binding proteins which have been implicated in cellular processes that include regulation of gene expression, maintenance of genomic integrity and mRNA/microRNA processing.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2521; HGNC ID: HGNC:4010; UniProt: P35637; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004960.4; Chromosome location: 16p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
