About this gene: This locus belongs to the fork-head transcription factor family. The encoded protein, which acts as a transcriptional repressor, is highly expressed in neural tissues during brain development. FOXG1 is disregulated in many types of cancer and is the target of multiple microRNAs that regulate the proliferation of tumor cells.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
