SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human FOS (Fos proto-oncogene, AP-1 transcription factor subunit, also called c-Fos) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human FOS qPCR Primer Set – Fos proto-oncogene, AP-1 transcription factor subunit
Also known as: AP-1, C-FOS, p55
About this gene: The Fos gene family consists of 4 members: FOS, FOSB, FOSL1, and FOSL2. These genes encode leucine zipper proteins that can dimerize with proteins of the JUN family, thereby forming the transcription factor complex AP-1. As such, the FOS proteins have been implicated as regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, and transformation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 2353; HGNC ID: HGNC:3796; UniProt: P01100; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005252.4; Chromosome location: 14q24.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
