SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AMELY (amelogenin Y-linked) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human AMELY qPCR Primer Set – amelogenin Y-linked
Also known as: AMGL, AMGY
About this gene: AMELY belongs to the amelogenin family of extracellular matrix proteins. Amelogenins are involved in biomineralization during tooth enamel development. Mutations in a related gene on chromosome X cause X-linked amelogenesis imperfecta.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 266; HGNC ID: HGNC:462; UniProt: Q99218; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001143.2; Chromosome location: Yp11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
