About this gene: CFHR5 belongs to a small complement factor H gene cluster on chromosome 1. Each member of CFHR5 family contains multiple short consensus repeats typical of regulators of complement activation. The CFHR5 protein has nine SCRs with the first two repeats having heparin binding properties, a region within repeats 5-7 having heparin binding and C reactive protein binding properties.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
